This is a great opportunity for a Qualified Music Teacher to join a good Leicester based school. As this is a one person department, you will have full responsibility and be the sole teacher of music at this school and must be able to teach up to A level. To be considered for this role, you must have previous classroom experience and be educated to PGCE or equivalent.
The Community College based in Leicester is a comprehensive 11-14 High School and Community College. Learning is at the heart of everything they do as their mission statement ‘excellence in learning’ strongly advocates. This is a great school, with good OFSTED reports. The student results for 2007 were their best ever and included 100% A*-C GCSE grades for students on fast track programmes in Maths and Science. Based on the progress that students make whilst they are at the College, they are currently ranked in the top 6% of all schools.

We have recently had a call from a School in Sandwell looking for a Qualified Teacher of Music to undertake a post teaching up to Key Stage 4 until the end of the School year.

At its most recent Offstead inspection in 2006, the School received a successful report commenting on the progression the school had made. One of the smaller secondary schools in the Sandwell LEA, the school is looking for someone with a passion for educating pupils in a vibrant and enthusiastic manner. The Teacher must have either a PGCE or equivalent qualifications to be considered for this post.
Abc Teachers are a very busy supply teaching agency across the majority of Sandwell Schools and would like to hear from anyone who thinks they are suitably qualified to undertake a post such as this.
